A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Terhune Lab members Lydia Haake and Patricia Ramos!

Lydia was recently awarded a State Undergraduate Research Fellowships (SURF) from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education to complete her research titled “Use of dermestid beetles in cleaning osteological specimens: best practices.” For this project, Lydia will be experimentally assessing what treatments and methods are most effecient for cleaning off osteological specimens using the dermestid beetle colony currently in the lab.

Patricia was just named one of 71 Seniors of Significance by the University of Arkansas Alumni Association. This award honors graduating seniors that excel in academics, leadership, and extracurricular campus and/or community activities.
